About Marnie 

Marnie was born in Washington D.C. and grew up vacationing in Rehoboth and Bethany Beach. She moved to Bethany Beach after earning a Bachelor’s of Science from East Carolina University with a dual major in Information Technology and Education. 

She is the daughter of three generations of builders, her father is the President of Marrick Properties, Inc. (www.marrickinc.com) a building and development company he, her mother, and her uncle started and have operated for 20 years.  Marnie grew up working for Marrick Properties and spent countless hours in the field as a laborer, assisting superintendents and learning the various aspects of the homebuilding business.

Marnie worked for Beazer Homes for two years and was in the National Top Ten volume producing and income producing sales categories for individual sales people for two consecutive quarters. She was in the Top Twenty for a solid year. She was awarded Rookie of the Year for all National Builders in Delaware, selling 74 homes in one year in real estate. Her sales success was a direct result of understanding the construction process and successfully working with homeowners, superintendents and trades people to deliver a remarkable product in a timely manner while exceeding customer expectations.  Marnie was in the top of her division in customer service while she worked for Beazer Homes.

Marnie founded Marnie Properties after being approached by several Bethany residents to build custom homes for them. At the time, Marnie was building her own residence and received several offers to purchase and interest as a result of the custom details and high quality of construction.  Since founding Marnie Properties in the summer of 2007, Marnie has built up a substantial clientele and works mainly on referral business.
