Marnie Inc. builds high end, custom beach homes in Bethany Beach, Delaware. As a fourth generation builder, Founder Marnie Oursler has extensive experience and is adept at communicating with her clients and understanding their needs.

She is the daughter of three generations of builders; her father is the President of Marrick Properties, Inc. a building and development company founded more than 20 years ago. Marnie grew up working for Marrick Properties and spent countless hours in the field as a laborer, assisting superintendents and learning the various aspects of the homebuilding business.

Marnie worked for Beazer Homes for two years and was one of the company's top sales people for two consecutive quarters. She was awarded "Rookie of the Year" for all National Builders in Delaware, selling 74 homes in one year in real

estate. Her sales success was a direct result of understanding the construction process and successfully working with homeowners, superintendents and trades people to deliver a remarkable product in a timely manner while exceeding  customer expectations. Marnie was in the top of her division in customer service while she worked for Beazer Homes.

When Marnie decided to build her own residence in Bethany Beach, neighbors couldn't help but notice the custom details of her home and the high quality construction. Marnie was approached on several occasions by residents interested in having Marnie build a beach home for them. As the demand for beach homes grew, Marnie founded Marnie Inc. and has since built up a substantial clientele.

In 2009, Marnie Inc. made Delaware home builder history, by constructing the first LEED Certified "Green" home in the state. Marnie considers protecting the environment a priority, and plans to continue building energy efficient homes, in an environmentally responsible manner. 

In 2008, Marnie Oursler founded the non-profit organization Angel Breaks which helps families who have members coping with severe medical conditions by providing vacations that enable them to enjoy, love, and embrace life together.
