Endless Summer
This home is a true Bethany Beach cottage for the next generation. All of the features of a modern day home, with all of the elegance and charm of an old Bethany cottage. Production time was roughly nine months, which included the demolition of the previous structure. As you make your way past the white picket fence and picturesque landscape, you will enter a cozy front porch outfitted with sea shells and wicker furniture. Enter the 8ft tall custom built door to the look of a traditional beach house with today’s features.  The yellow pine flooring restored from local barns is throughout the first level and truly is reminiscent of yesterday’s look. The Chippendale style railing was handmade and adds distinction and character to the family room. The den has a cathedral ceiling with white washed wood walls and looks as if it has been there for ages. Make your way back to the kitchen where a paneling system on the ceiling adds character and the icestone countertop adds charm. The glass tiled backsplash is magnificent against the stainless steel appliances and looks as if it was hand made from sea glass. The hall to the master bedroom features a built in picture frame area and the master bedroom features a walk in closet, bead boarded ceilings and wainscoting in the baths. A vintage pedestal tub with pedestal sinks adds elegance as does the walk in shower, with the spa system and rain shower overhead shower. The tumbled tile brings you back in time and it looks like artwork as the tile picture frames the glass block window.  Upstairs you will find cathedral ceilings, two porches for guests, four bedrooms and two and a half baths. Custom touches are everywhere in this home, from the window seats to tiny doors for children to play in - it is a remarkable beach home where the summers are endless.
